Years
I wish I were only five years old,
When happiness was a box of pot of gold.
When there were no worries and no sorrows,
When a big problem was who to play with tomorrow.
I wish I were only ten today,
When not having homework meant time to play.
When nobody was any good at sports,
When nobody was afraid to wear shorts.
I wish I were only sixteen,
When playing games involved a machine.
When friendship was a thing that lasted forever,
When you were able to do whatever.
I am nineteen today however,
Now thing are worse then ever.
Now everything I knew is no more,
Now the world is so hardcore.
