Losing You

You don't see it but I do,
I see I'm slowly losing you.
And after our thought were exchanged,
You reassured that nothing has changed.
We don't talk everyday and that's ok,
But when we do there's like nothing to say.
I don't mean to bug you or complain,
But I'm afraid of the soon to come pain.

I let you in an showed you me,
That's something I never do you see.
I prevent myself from getting hurt again,
But I never thought we would cause this pain.
As I sit here writing I begin to cry,
Out of all I've said there is no lie.
I swear I say this not to hurt you,
Because that's not something I want to do.
I just thought that you should know,
What you mean to me before you have to go.
