Who We Are

Ever wonder what goes on
Outside these walls in the world beyond,
Things that we may never know
Could shape the way we grow.

Things that shape who we be
Things that make you, you and me, me,
So why can't we shape who we are
Know what's going on a far.

But what about the things that happen right here
The things that cause us pain, comfort, or cheer,
Those are the things that we know
Those things also help us grow.

We cannot be both here and there
We cannot be everywhere,
There will always be things happening a far
Things that make us who we are.
