True Friend

I don't know what you see in me,
Or how this friendship came to be,
But it didn't take too long to see,
That you in my life is something I need.

For being there by my side,
Without you I might have died,
You cheer me up when I am blue,
I hope I do the same for you.

I just wrote this to show how I feel,
And what it says is all to real,
So now I ask you please don't go,
I need you more then you'll ever know.
