Letter Never Sent

I wrote you a letter you will never read,
It says how you were the one that helped me succeed.
Without you who knows where I'd be,
But I promise you it wouldn't be the me you see.
Who knows where I would be to this fall,
I know I wouldn't be here looking at these walls.
I wrote it for my feelings to show,
I wrote it so you would finally know.
What is going on inside of my head,
But at the last minute I chickened out instead.
The letter is still there all ready to send,
It's there for you to one day read my friend.
I know one day you'll find out what I said,
I just hope when that day comes I won't be dead.
One day I promise you will read it my friend,
Until then just trust me and be my best friend.
